Super 32 GA may be a qualifier for main tourn in NC, BUT it is one of the toughest folkstyle tournaments of the year that at times may have State Champs battling it out for a top 4 finish. At season’s end, there will be state champs that did not place top 4 at this “qualifying” tournament.

Joseph Sowell (SR) - 132
132 was a deep weight with several wrestlers entered that have made the podium previously. Joseph came in unseeded and had a nice push on the front & backside of the bracket picking up a Tech, a Pin of 7A opponent, and another Pin before finishing 4-2 on the day.
Nate Williams (SR) - 138
138 was arguably the deepest weight of the event. Nate also came in unseeded and finished with a Major, Tech before ending (2-2) in the consi rounds. Solid showing!
Yanik Simon (SR) - 150 - TOURN CHAMP!
Not often a 3 times State Champ comes in unseeded, but Yanik had a great run to the Finals with 3 straight Tech Falls (including sems 18-4 over #2 seed) before winning the “match of the day” a tight one 4-3 in the finals against vs a tough GA State Champ.
Chalie Sledge (SR) - 175
Great to see Chalie back-in-action after rebuilding himself after a limited season last year. Dropped a heartbreaker in the last match (3-4) after getting 1st Takedown. More big things coming from this guy - Stay tuned in!
Jason Brown (SR) - 215 - 3RD PLACE!
Unseeded, drew the #1 seed a returning GA State Champ, pinned the #1 seed, followed that 
up with another pin putting him in the Semis. A heartbreaker Sudden Victory 1-2 loss to a TN State Placer dropped Jason into the consolation rounds to fight back for 3rd. There he defeated the same #1 seed in the consi semis (4-3), took the 3rd Place match with a 13-3 major decision over the #2 seed (GA placer), and received a shout out from SE Wrestle!
